Overview
From the Karakoram Highway at Raikot Bridge, a jeep track and a short walk bring you to Fairy Meadows — an alpine meadow of pine forest facing the Raikot Face of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m), the ninth-highest mountain on Earth. From there the trail follows the Raikot Glacier past Beyal Camp to the climbers' Base Camp below the north face.

Itinerary
Day 01
Arrive in Islamabad
Meet your HimKa trek leader for a briefing and kit check. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 02
Islamabad to Chilas
A long, scenic drive along the Karakoram Highway through the Kaghan Valley and over the Babusar Pass (road conditions permitting). Overnight in Chilas.
Day 03
Chilas to Fairy Meadows
Drive to Raikot Bridge, then by jeep up the narrow track to Tato village. Walk about 2–3 hours to Fairy Meadows (3,300 m). Overnight in camp or a wooden cabin.
Day 04
Acclimatisation day at Fairy Meadows
A gentle walk through the forest to the Raikot Glacier viewpoint, with views of the Raikot Face.
Day 05
Fairy Meadows to Beyal Camp
A short walk of about 2 hours through pine forest to Beyal Camp (3,500 m).
Day 06
Beyal Camp to Nanga Parbat Base Camp and back
Trek along the edge of the Raikot Glacier to Base Camp (about 3,970 m), with Nanga Parbat filling the skyline. Return to Beyal Camp for the night.
Day 07
Beyal Camp to Fairy Meadows
Walk back down through the forest. Spare time at Fairy Meadows for photography.
Day 08
Fairy Meadows to Hunza (Karimabad)
Walk down to Tato and take the jeep to Raikot Bridge, then drive north along the Karakoram Highway to Karimabad. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 09
Karimabad
A rest day in Hunza: Baltit Fort, Altit Fort and the old bazaar.
Day 10
Departure
Drive to Gilgit for the flight to Islamabad, or the road journey back (weather permitting).
